Author Albert Allen III grew up on the streets of Santa Ana, Calif., in the late 1970s and 1980s, where he witnessed first hand the lifestyle of a Cholo in Southern California. Now he taps that experience in the first of a planned series of e-Book short stories,

The story details the adventures of Hector Gomez, an inactive Cholo gang member who became a police officer and a assistant district attorney, who gets fed up with the bull. He returns to the Barrio of East Los Angeles and opens his private law offices. Hector calls on the help of the following Cholos in solving his clients cases:

- Caesar Romero, AKA The Big Homie: Caesar is currently serving a 7-year prison sentence for weapons violation. Caesar is the Los Angeles County "shot caller" of the Mexican Mafia gang in prison and on the streets.

- Maria Romero, AKA Debbie: Maria is a hardcore Chola; she operates a small tattoo
