About Me
I have been doing comedy since 1992. I live in Florida. I was featured in a DVD, "Special O'Laughics", which can be ordered by going to www.kensonsfilms.com. I have performed at McCurdy's Comedy Club in Sarasota, Florida and am currently active at Cock and Bull and Mr. Beery's - also in Sarasota. Sometimes, I go to Sidesplitters in Tampa and Coconuts in Clearwater to perform.
I do mainly money jokes and commercials for imaginary products. I have props - posters and a box of knick-knacks.

Heroes: My friends, Charlie Van Orden and Scott McCanna, who live in Bradenton, Florida, have been very supportive of my comedy. Also, the comedians who inspire me are Gallagher and the Amazing Jonathan.
Favorite Music: I like a little of everything from the 1950s through today. I feel that there are so many "lost" songs - songs that radio stations just don't play anymore. Many stations who say that they play a wide variety of hits from the 1970s, seem to only play the Eagles, Doobie Brothers, Boston, Chicago and John Cougar Mellencamp. Music from these groups is okay, but I feel that they are overplayed. I would like to hear radio stations play more novelty songs and one-hit-wonders. I would like to hear more "lost" songs to balance out the overrated songs from the above groups.
Favorite Movies: I like movies that are multi-faceted, like "Time Bandits" (1981) and "Friday the 13th Part 8 - Jason Takes Manhattan" (1988). A few movies made in protest, like "Footloose" (1984) which presents a liberal viewpoint and "The Principal" (1987) with a conservative viewpoint, are also good. "The Lion King" is a good film about the difference between Simba, who is king because he wants what is best for the community, and Scar, who rules out of vindictiveness and a thirst for power. "Red Dawn" with Patrick Swayze (1984) is a very powerful and effective movie about an army who invades the United States.
Favorite TV Shows: I like MLB during baseball season and NHL during hockey season. I root for teams that represent places where I have had exposure with my comedy routine and my manuscripts. I also like "Let's Make A Deal". I get excited for the contestants who win cool prizes and wisely avoid the "zonks". I also love "Judge Judy" although I occasionally disagree with some of her rulings.
Interests: I love doing stand-up comedy and I also, as a hobby, write scripts for plays and movies. These scripts are a creation of scenerios that either bug me or they portray people's stupidity. I have written about children who fall for Internet scams, entertainment-bashing adults and guys who can't control their jealousy in relationships.
I have a video on this Website to give visitors on this site a taste of what my comedy routine is like. I am hoping that it will attract both locals and out-of-town visitors to the comedy clubs in Sarasota
, Clearwater, Tampa and Port Charlotte where I perform.
