It comes out the 27th, and I'm going to see it. It's supposed to be based on the doctumentary "A Haunting in Connecticut", that the Discovery Channel aired. I heard the documentary was scary as hell, but the movie looks rather interesting too- embellished- but interesting. I'd never seen the documentary. Supposedly it's a true story about a family who unbeknownstingly moved into a former mortuary that ended up being haunted- or possessed- or both. From the movie trailer, I gathered that there were psyences held there too, and if you want to get demons into your house, that's one of the easiest ways to do it. (second easiest- ouija boards... or any situation that compells you to call forth anything from the supernatural world {because anything you call to you is going to be a demon, NOT a ghost/spirit/etc.})
However, I remember when "An American Haunting" came out, and that movie screwed up the real story so bad. (Bell witch = little girl's virginity- makes so much sense...) e_e I tried to look up the real story about "Connecticut" but I couldn't find anything. I did run across an article about how "Amityville" was made up, but I don't doubt that that story could be true.
Well, I'm sure a few people who read this will think I'm clinically insane, which I think is stupid. Yes, I believe in the paranormal. If that makes me crazy, then I'm proud to be crazy. :D
