"but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ" Rom 6:23b Jesus loves us so much, he took the punishment we deserve for us when he died on the cross, so that if we ask Him to forgive us of our sins and be our Savior, HE WILL. It is "by grace ye are saved" Ephesians 2:8a, Gods work, not ours that gets us to heaven. We just trust Christ, and we are born into His family. No one can take that away from us.
