your little soda shop sounds divine! I wish I liked Pepsi, but I cannot stand it nor their love of illegals. I was raised on Diet Coke growing up and the only Coke Classic in the house was for Dad's mixed drinks! You soda shop sounds like a cool place as I mentioned before...it made me think of the Clayton General store in none other than Clayton, Texas. It was a gas station, bait shop (down the road from Lake Murval), and burger shop. The place was always crowded around lunch time with farmers. They made the best greasy cheeseburgers I have ever had! They also introduced me to Armadillo Eggs. These "eggs" are amazing! They are about the size of a baseball and consist of a combination of chicken, cheese, jalapenos, and other mystery blends rolled up and deep fried! VERY AWESOME! The Louisiana equivalent of what my wife has made: Gator Eggs. Well, I have not had either one in a long time and lo and behold, a new family owned eatery here in Cooper, called TFY (your guess is as good as mine), that has these "dillo eggs" and are very good too!!!
i have the photo of my pumpkin pies on paper and id have to scan it in and i dont have a scanner. Sorry man. Maybe i can figure something out to put them up.
If you have a digital camera, get in close and take a picture of the picture with the macro lens and then upload them into your computer. Might not be the best picture but I've done it and it came out ok.
