Ok, so the word on the street is that my last blog is ghey. I assume that's some sort of clever censor avoiding talk. This according to Mr Whiteyford. Honestly, I don't know where I went wrong. I took that blog to church with me every sunday. I made sure that blog was heavily involved in after school sports. Honestly, I don't know where I went wrong. Me thinks perhaps I should have forced football on it as opposed to the progressive jazz tap that it was doing. Oh well.
So lets just leave that blog for dead eh? Not due to its latent gender defying properties, cuz you know, if it wants to go that route, I'm all for it. Whats more important though is that I give you a list. These are my top 10 favorite banned words...according to one of our licensing partners. This is real too. I'm withholding the name of the company to avoid being sued out of existence...cuz you know, it says the info is classified. Whoever thought they should send us a classified list of anything is retarded. Level of restriction listed after the word...
10. Cornhole - HIGH RESTRICTION
9. Fart - Medium restriction. Seriously, the word 'fart'? Or is it the action?
8. ding-a-ling - This is the same level of restriction of the as the 5 letter plural name for those things boys have that girls don't.
7. The term "whips it out". This is actually more acceptible to this company than any of the above words or phrases.
6. Pee Pee - again, words I used to explain to my 5 year old brother why he shuoldn't piss on the toilet seat. More restricted than the term "*****"
5. Expel - what? Man I wish i was at the meeting when this list was made.
4. Butch - get ready for a future where the TV Guide channel is showing ***** Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Same restrictions as "ding-a-ling"
3. Crapping - medium restriction. Note that this is the only version of the verb on the list. The one that begins with SH...I assume that one is all good.
2. Man-Loaf - god I don't even want to hear this in a sentence.
1. Ruby Red Sack - Total Restriction...seriously guys?
Ok. Now I need to find something else to do. Happy whitey?
Stumble Upon? Digg? Eh? Promote Yourself!

I\'m going out on a limb here...but I\'m gonna guess that alot of you aren\'t familiar with those buttons below a video. You know the one\'s under the embed code? Yes those. These...

So what do they do? Well, for one, they get your video seen. By lots of people. These are social bookmarking sites. There are others too, as evidenced by the fact that we have a few of them under there.
StumbleUpon is my favorite of the batch. There are a few ways to use stumbleupon, the first of which involves just going to stumbleupon.com and seeing their most recent picks. The best way to use it though...well that involves two things. First you need to be using Firefox (which is your admin\'s first pick for browsing). Once you have firefox you can install an \"add-on\". For those who have no idea what I\'m talking about, its like a little application for your browser. I use these religiously. Mainly becuz I\'m a lazy nerd who like to modify anything and everything I get my hands on. I couldn\'t survive without the mouse gestures app. Why use the back button when I can just use my mouse to do everything???
But I digress. My point here is to educate. So back to Stumbleupon. Once you have that app installed, a toolbar is created within your browser. Theres a cool little button that will show up. It says \"Stumble!\" When you click that, your browser will take you to a random site that someone has marked as worth checking out. You can totally customize this bad boy too. Like photography? Animals? Science? Religion? They got you covered.
So how does this affect you? Well, you can add your videos to stumbleupon (once you have an account there). Other people out there in the internet world will hit their stumble button. Eventually, they\'ll start stumbling across your stuff!
Digg is the same way, only it doesnt have that cool button. Digg.com is probably the best way to have a literal army come to see what you\'ve done. Again, you need to sign up for an account there. If you click the submit to Digg button, it will redirect you to their site. Once there, you fill out a little form and it created a digg record. From here, other people can vote on whether or not they \"digg\" your content...ya dig? If you make it to the front page of digg, you\'re gonna end up with 100\'s of thousands of views...so if you want to promote yourself, this is a great way.
There are others out their too! For instance del.icio.us. That site is another variation of the bookmarking theme. Don\'t forget about embedding too! You can put these vids on your myspace, your friendster or your face book accounts. Any other social networking site that allows html will work also. Put your vid in a bulletin and send it off to your friends. The views will count towards your total.
Thats all i have to say on this topic. Feel free to leave some comments down below if you have questions or something to add!
Music in a Profile?

So alot of you guys have been asking me if SV is going to allow music uploads. The short answer to that is no.
BUUUUUUTTTTTTT you have some other options. There are a variety of sites out there that let you prepare embeddable music players and playlists to use with your myspace page or facebook or whatever you poison is. I would suggest ProjectPlaylist.com. If you decide to use that, go ahead and choose to embed a playlist on your myspace page. The code that it spits out can be used on your SV profile. I put mine in the "More Info" section. And I'm putting it right below this sentence....
I'm sure you guys are gonna have plenty more questions, so feel free to ask right here.
And one more thing...There's some code at the bottom of the embed code that just adds little click ads for getting ringtones and junk. It usually makes it so the entire embed code won't fit in your More Info section. All you gotta do is erase the excess stuff. My embed code...well the last bit was this...
""http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" border="0""
You will have to keep the brackets and "div" stuff though. Play around with it and see what you can do!

Hey guys,
There was a little problem with the profile editor's upload function. If you uploaded something via that screen and it didn't go through, erase it and try again. It will work flawlessly this time around.

So I've heard a couple questions regarding profile pictures. We're going to be modifying the way that works soon...but in the meantime...
In order to change your profile picture you have to go into the Profile Editor and Select the Profile Picture link.
If you're in a gallery, and you click "select as main"...what thats doing is making that image the main image of your photo gallery. As of right now, uploaded photos cannot become profile images.
We're gonna fix soon though, so dont fret.
