In order to handle the spam posts on our site more effectively we have made some changes.
You may notice a few new restrictions when trying to post here and there, but overall things should run smoother with less spam.
Also, we will allow embedded content from various sites, such as YouTube and Vimeo in case you would like to add a link in that fashion.
If all goes well most of you won't even notice a difference.

I might have rushed my response from yesterday and I wanted to make sure things are clear.
We have disabled certain site embeds, but sites like ours, YouTube, and Vimeo (sites with controlled content) will still be able to be embedded onto comments, profiles and others. Same goes with pictures.
So basically, unless you wanted to embed something from a flagged site you shouldn't notice a difference.

prevent the music players in comments?
truly prevent HTML's and hyperlinks?

and what's up with the way comments and replies are being posted??
for example Raekwon's recent replies on your comments are on top of your previous replies....see what I am saying?
also, any luck on my profile view count?

Concerning the spam, yes. They shouldn't be able to post pictures to their profiles, no more hyperlinks, and a couple of other secret things that we want them to run into as a surprise.
As for everything else, I can tell you that the comments, replies, and even your view count are going to be fixed in the nearer future.
The problem is a back end issue. Our boys still need to spit shine and polish a couple of things before we're done.
I don't want to promise any timelines, we do have a lot going on, but it's on the list and in the "to do" bin.
