Hey guys,
You may have noticed the new player...it's still the beta version, so you can expect some new little tweaks coming to it. Regardless, what do you guys think? Do you like it? Miss the old one (I for one am happy to see it gone)?
While you're here, i have another question for you guys. The bossman and I were chatting and he asked me if I knew where most of our users found out about SV. I realized that, no, I don't know...and I had never really spent much time thinking about it. Where did you hear about SV?

I have a hotmail email account and when logging out it goes to MSN where I used to always check out the daily vids there and checked them out...the vid (I forgot what it was) linked back to the site...this was back in fall 2006...finally joined (sorry, for free) last March or so after visiting for a year and a half.
I love the site, I wish some things were different, but since I am a free member, I won't complain too much!
The main thing I would like to change, is notifiacation when anyone comments on a comment anywhere in SV, or when someone posts on any upload. Too many new members reply on their page to comments and sometimes get upset when noone responds to those replies
know what I mean???
oh, and one more thing, someone mentioned it before, but why isn't there a favorites section for photos like there is for vids?????

I completely agree on the photo thing. Thats something they have on our roadmap, but our tech team has been tied up building Doritos Superbowl Upload pages and whatnot.
As for the comment notifications thing...thats coming too. Theres alot of stuff I cant talk about, but when these unspoken things come to be, there will be a ton of new features...including some privacy stuff!
