But nothing deep will ever be shared. It seems more difficult now. We hired a private driver to take us around according to our itinerary. They have a small little hut there selling art. A barong dance figure was also on display. A woman was roasting the beans the traditional way when we got there. Civet and other related civets. The berries are then passed through their digestive tract and in their stomach the enzymes seep into the beans. Luwak and kept a civet in the cage for display. It did look kind of depressed in there and moved about a lot making it hard for pictures. We were not sure how true and authentic this place was so we did not get any. Some part of it sat on the middle of a lake. Wayan asked what we wanted to have for lunch. Ah well, we did not have much choice as we were driving through villages . Warned hubs immediately and he did not even dare to taste it. There was some pork, veges and cracklings for sure. Many tourists were braving themselves crossing the waves splashing knee high to the temple. Not sure if it was to worship or just to check out the place. Apparently snakes live there to guard the place. There was also a long stretch of market where the local set up stalls to sell all kinds of souveniers, arts and crafts , clothings and much more. We spend quite a bit of time walking around the market despite the hot weather.
