hi guys i though you guys would like to get to know the real me. so here are some poems and stuff that i wrote.

A Red Sea on No Map of Mine

I feel lost in a sea, red in colour, bitter in taste.
And as the tide washes me out, it also washes away my breath.
Drowning in what I thought was my friend, my life’s existence, I sail away.
Sailing away, down below the tide and sun, below the waves and foam.
Stinging fills my eyes and throat.
A silent scream quivers on my lips.
My body twitches with an emotion unknown to man.
Slowly I float up, as my body floats down.
I exit my mouth and look down only to see a shadow of my former self.
Free, I fly from the bitter red sea and feel the wind on my face.

Salvation

Blonde hair of beauty and face of sheer kindness doth hold thy angel closely.
With heart of gold and soul of no prise or treasure thy walks through the ages,
Holding hands with those of which she cares so deeply about.
Thy friends of her closeness have safety and honour in her presence,
And smile with that can never be compared to be as loving as hers.

Hair of chocolate, rimed with gold holds a face of affection in its hands.
Thy may be small but thy heart is old with love and takes care of those who need it.
Thy may not be an angel but doth hold the heart of one
Her embrace, so strong, can only be called gentle to those who have felt it.

Together they stand fighting the world and those who try to knock them down.
Hand in hand they help those who can not go on alone.
Thy hearts are pure and thy deeds are noble for those who help with their ways.
Changing the world one step at a time can only be done with love.
The two of them know what is to be done and walk on with followers.

To fight the world

Together

The Hidden Court Yard

I walk with poise and care down a concealed ally way of which is lined with old bricks. Old glass, covered in dirt, hides staring eyes. And though the ally itself is hidden it hides something of its own.

A court yard with lush green grass and a fountain that trickles with the sound of delicate rain, stands at the end of the old brick lane way. An old chess board, big in size, sits in the corner of the heavenly court yard. A girl plays with a pawn that is almost the same size as her. The father watches protectively.

Shops and cafes seem to rim the beauty with its greed for money. People sit with expensive food and drinks on the table in front of them. And although it cost them all that lives in their purses and wallets they barley touch the food and soon walk away, satisfied that they are now upper class do to their actions.

Near the lush grass wooden seats are placed. An old couple sit in the seats unaware of the world, only aware that they are in each other’s arms. Their eyes staring, like stars so close in brightness, but so far in distance. Time going so gradually through their minds.

All seems well and peaceful in the hidden court yard; there is no need for me to be here.

I walk with jealousy and neglect up a concealed ally way of which is lined with old bricks. The old glass, covered in dirt, hides staring eyes. And although the ally itself is hidden it hides something of its own.

Morning

Light, from the day outside, glitters from the curtain in a stream over her bed.
She seems to stir and roll over in awareness that it is morning.
Birds whistle outside with the wind in the tops of the trees.
The clock on her bedside table reads “7:04” in block red digits.
Morning breathes through her slightly open window, almost sighing.
The air in the room, feeling cool and fresh on her face, opens her eyes.
A car drives past, as if in a rush, but seems silent in the morning atmosphere.
Clothes lie on the floor from where they were left in the hot, sticky air last night.
Her naked body feels warm and comforting under her doona.
Slowly she arises and pulls on the clothes from the soft, yet grainy, floor.
A meow echoes through her room from outside the window.
She stands up, poised, and walks to the door.
Turning the handle almost instinctively she opens it.
She turns left towards the front door and walks toward it determined to reach it.
She unlocks the door with the key that lives in the lock and it swings open.
The screen door bars her way, but not her eyes, she looks down and see’s her cat.
Its black fur ruffles in the wind and her lush green eyes shimmer, happy.
She opens her mouth but only a squeak comes out, near silent.
The girl smiles and unlocks the screen door, it swings open and the cat walks in.
She smiles as it walks to her room, knowing where it is going.
As she walks in she sees it sitting in front of its food bowls.
She grabs the pellet box from atop the cupboard and pours some into her bowl.
The little, hard, odd shaped pellets clink as they land in the bowl.
The cat dives in and begins eating happily.
The girl smiles, leans over and pats the cat on the top of the head.
She walks back towards her bed and gets under the covers again.
She rolls over and soon she is fast asleep again, later to be joined by her cat.
