This was my first experience with leeches. The forest was dense and weather extremely humid. No significant wildlife sightings to report apart from a bright yellow toad. At the three kilometer mark we were exhausted, the sun rose higher and the leeches had their fill. Things changed dramatically within the next kilometer with the forests opening into grassy meadows and a drop in humidity. The fatigue disappeared and was replaced with new vigour. We dropped our pace further to enjoy the environs. The stragglers were still a kilometer away and so i happily began snapping away. The priests staying here provide meals and a place to stay for traveling parties for a nominal rate. Montane grass covered meadows. We rested here for about an hour, had lunch and then set off to conquer the peak. We decided to ascend quickly unsure about the duration required to reach the peak. Orchids on a rockface. About a kilometer into the ascent the rain-gods awoke. Oblivious to the perils in store we carried onwards. A few brave pioneers among us began setting the pace. Vinay tried catching up but our efforts were futile. Ten minutes and one emergency chocolate break later we had ascended the false peak and could see the true one. Harsha had already began their descent and egged us forwards. And forwards we went right to the very tip of the peak. Bhattramane before sundown.

However, the town and date selected for the ceremony clashed with a major annual event on the south coast in which various flying machines always attract many thousands of people. And these many thousands of people all converge on the small local airport. It is not a weekend to want to travel through this town as all roads are normally heavily congested. August sun in a car which had not been moving for several minutes at a time. Not to mention their drivers who were not only smartly dressed but probably slightly stressed as well. Chef who had purchased a light coloured linen suit especially for the occasion. Unfortunately for him, despite the lack of sunshine, it was still a warm, muggy day. Coconut were well and truly prepared. They organised a coach to pick people up from the reception venue, and take them, en masse, to the church. The groom, himself, opted to take the coach to ensure he was at least at the church when his bride to be turned up. Organised as they were, they overlooked one small detail. There was no traffic. Nobody sat in a hot car for hours getting sweaty. Nobody turned up late. In fact it was quite the opposite, everyone turned up far too early. So early in fact, that the coach made an unscheduled stop at a pub. And as for the bride and bridal party, they just pulled over and waited in a side street. Dunwoody, who used to be my next door neighbour. It has mahogany panelling, deep red carpets and brown leather sofas. One unexpected thing it has is free and high-speed wi-fi. The room was very clean with a bathroom that looks like it had been refurbished in the last year or so.

Getting the chalk lines down before the game. Local brass band keeping the crowds entertained during the games. A felt a little bad for this guy. Richards has a little porch attached to his office, this is the view from it. Luckily i got to go up there during a fantastic sunset. Summer baseball is over for the year but i am happy that it is because, like anything, you can only handle so much of it before you need a break. So look for some college football post real soon. Cheerios in the house. Still taste pretty good, maybe a little soft though. Loophole, launches an appeal. England star did not appear in court for the hearing. London when she was carjacked by eight thugs who were on motorbikes. She was physically removed from the car. Barry, the now-defunct company that used to manufacture and sell her line. First, a disclaimer. York license in the mail. Club in my neighborhood, and have been enjoying getting back into a gym routine. Club and registered for three races before the end of the year. December may kill me. Delta oversold it and i gave up my seat. Sports, athens, new york and tagged asae, georgia football, i love magazines, new yorker, uga.

Bradley made some controversial choices that may have cost his side a chance to advance further. Ghana match was a costly error. Americans in extra time. Ghana had a few fresher players owing to the later substitutions. Ghana matches is questionable. Onyewu failed to produce any offense on one end, and created a liability on the other. But almost every side had injuries to contend with as well. Ferdinand, its key central defender. Essien, one of the most complete midfielder in the world. American side may expose a lack of depth, but the side also fell short in making adjustments. Gomez started games. Buddle in the first place. Beasley, while coming off an injury, saw only a handful of minutes. Gomez had been removed. Most likely, his teams will play to their level of ability, not much above, or much below. Sox have been one of the most talented squads in the majors year-in and year-out. If i were to sum up this situation in one sentence, that would be it. Not a great team, mind you. Spain on a regular basis. Cup regularly, and occasionally make noise in the knockout round. Cup in the next couple of cycles.
