Two films which follow the artists, dressed in rented rat and bear costumes, through their adventures from an LA freeway to a lake in the Swiss Alps.
Peter Fischli and David Weiss started their collaboration in 1979. Working with media ranging from film, sculpture of a variety of materials, photography, video and installations, they convey humor, irony and wonder through everyday objects, giving them a new meaning in the process. They have been acclaimed around the world with exhibitions and retrospectives at the Tate Modern, MoMA, and Le Centre Georges Pompidou, to name a few. They were chosen to represent Switzerland at the Venice Biennale in 1995 and 2003, winning the Golden Lion that year. They both live and work in Zürich, Switzerland.
